Without hesitation, it’s got to be cauliflower! I love it with my Sunday Roast in a medley of other vegetables - carrot, peas and broccoli. I also love cauliflower cheese which is a quick and easy for my tea or supper. It can be bland in colour so you have to serve it with other colourful foods.

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
Monkey - I also love brocolli and cauliflower - they're both good for you. Have you tried leeks?

I luv broccoli too. I like the funny effect it has! Our granny cooks a kind of banana for a vegetable - I think it's called plantin. You should try it.

Maybe there should be a column called "Ask Monkey." It could be for answers or an advice column.
ReplyDeleteI eat cabbage, carrots, leeks, broccoli and acelgas (Swiss chard.)
1. Monkey, what is your view on dressing lap dogs in clothes? The world waits with bated breath.
2. Monkey, what is bated breath? Only joking, it means you almost stop breathing.
3. Monkey, are you breathing?
