Darrell and I have been planning our World Cup potato snack of choice very carefully ….. Walkers have bought out crisps that represent a culinary flavour of each team taking part in the World Cup, Engerland is represented by Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding flavour.
We have sent Auntie Jan out shopping and she has procured us an abundant supply of the said flavour, which will hopefully last us right up to the final match.
We also plan to share a packet of our oppositions flavour crisps during each match, so that we can experience, for ourselves, a little of their culinary traditions. This is a mammoth taste we have set ourselves, tracking down the relevant crisps in time for each match as we progress through the groups.
But this pales into insignificance when compared to the task that Fabio and our gallant Engerland team face in South Africa, bless them, each and everyone.
