Pirate Dinner Day

Nigel doesn’t often come to work with us as he is more of a hindrance than a help, but there's been a spate of  huge, last minute photocopying jobs to be done lately and Darrell and I have been called in to help as we know the routine and can churn them out like the best of them!

But as it was also Pirate Dinner Day we thought we’d take Nigel with us on the proviso that he was very good.

Well,  his behaviour was exemplary. We gave him the job of  measuring all the rulers to see if they were all the same size and his reward was a look round the canteen at all the pirate stuff plus a large slice of Pirate Pepperoni Pizza.

We reckon that if you stand under the pizza warmer lights for long enough you’d get a really good tan!

The pizza smelt and tasted divine, but somehow we couldn’t imagine that it was the sort of food that was served very often on The Black Pearl …..

Noms out of 10 for the pizza ….. ? 8, Darrell thought it could have done with a few more weevils and scurvy mites !!!  What is he like?

    Did you have to pay with pieces of eight?
    With inflation, they should be pieces of nine (or is it seven?)

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
