Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
Well done Karen!
ReplyDeleteThe numbers from the Chinese takeaway sound appetising.
I'm thinking a dark green ink or bright blue would be colours that Darrell might choose, then again he might be a fan of bright purple!!!

Real mail with a message in proper ink is very special and a lovely gift from Karen! If I remember correctly, this Chinese New Year is the year of the chicken. Darrell is certainly being a martyr to his diet commitment while visions of tempting numbers come into mind! temptations pop up everywhere.....Happy Chinese new year, Dianne
ReplyDeleteI used to dabble in a bit of calligraphy myself - often think of picking up the pen, ink and parchment again.....JantheFan x
ReplyDeleteAwww bless you boys - glad that the card made it safely to you xx
ReplyDeleteI am sure Darrell will enjoy using a real ink pen - I went to quite an old fashioned grammar school and we weren't allowed to use biros, I must admit I do cheat now and use ink cartridges but at school we were only allowed to use ink from a bottle.
Love KraftyKaren xx
