Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
Lovely to see so many snowdrops. With Storm Brendan on its way I hope Nigel has kept his vest on as it’s predicted to be quite rough weather.

I'm with young Bertie - as Robert Frost's Spring prayer says...
ReplyDeleteOh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.
......
Snowdrops are reminding us we are so nearly there.....but I think I'll keep my thermals on for another week or too...JantheFan x
It is a while since I thought of wincyette sheets or nightclothes!
ReplyDeleteNe'er cast a clout till May be out are wise words, for January in England, but not here. Mrs.D and I are on holiday in Sayulita, on the Pacific coast of Mexico. It is in the tropics and winter here and in Mexico City is warm and dry. Today, we are forecast a low of 68°F and a high of 82°F (20°C/28°C).
