Darrell found out the wrestling poster he’d availed himself of shortly before meltdown …….
……. some of the characters recognisable from the many Nigel has mused over in the past.
Shortly before said meltdown Darrell had overheard Tom the Scientist say he was going to take Little Miss Iris as a father/daughter bonding experience, as she’d loved the wrestling last year on holiday at Ladrum Bay (Young Master Bertie was not so keen). Tom the Scientist was quite a wrestling aficionado in his time, having once travelled all the way to Dallas, Texas for some World Wrestling Event or other.
Darrell had asked Tom the Scientist if Nigel might join them, as he’s been sooooooooooo desperate to go for absolute ages, but had no one to go with, wrestling not really being Darrell’s or my sort of thing.
However, meltdown put paid to those plans …… but as soon as “this” is all over and the posters start popping up around town again, Darrell has promised Nigel that he shall, finally, go to the ball!

Maybe Nigel could make up some wrestling-type names, when he is next pondering.
