Living La Vida Lockdown –Day 94 – Thinking Way Into The Future and His Tum …….

Nigel has noted that the blossom on the blackberry bushes along the river is boding well for a bumper crop  ……..

…… leading to wonderful, carefree, summer days picking with Iris and Bertie, where purple fingers and mouth are de rigueur ………..

…… and a freezer full of Darrell’s most excellent apple and blackberry crumble ……. for comforting, autumnal puddings after Sunday lunch, served with great dollops of his favourite thick custard. What is he like …… but I have to admit, it don’t get much better than that!!

    No custard powder, over here, I'm afraid. If there were, I would make it so thick, that you could stand your spoon up in it.

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
