It’s Eco Week in school ……….
…… as all the litter picker tools and buckets lined up along the school pathway would attest ………
……. so as well as listening to his beloved little readers this week, it would have looked rude of Nigel, resplendent in his “Eco green” bow-tie, not to show roll up his sleeves and muck in.
Never have the school grounds been so pristine ……….
……… with the message carefully taken in by all, it was ……. emotional!
Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteOh being brought up with the slogan, Keep Britain Tidy, it is something I have always done over the years. Now I am part of the village tidy group and do regular litter pics - doing one this Sunday as it happens. Always have a carrier bag and rubber gloves with me when I'm out and for the moments when I see bits of litter - which is ALWAYS! Sad. JantheFan x
