One of my favourite episodes of this years ‘The Apprentice’ was when they had to make some bath smellies to sell at a profit ………
….. and that made me think that perhaps I could make some soap for Christmas presents this year ….
It was very exciting being in a science lab with lots and lots of chemical substances, and I was very careful to take all appropriate safety precautions.
I read all the instructions with due diligence before I touched a thing.
And I think I weighed everything correctly ……
and chose nice smells ……..
But I think I may have added a bit too much bubble solution!
Special thanks to Adam for allowing me use use his laboratory facilities, and I hope it didn’t take him too long to clean up the mess.
(Yes, to the eagle eyed among you, I did sustain a small chemical burn to my hand while in the lab, but after running it under a cold tap for some time it’s now OK, no fur was lost during this experiment.)
