Happy Haggis Day

25th January is Haggis Day and who am I not to celebrate?

Now, I love my food as you all know, but I have to admit that I don’t find this particular dish very appealing…………

BUT, my Great Gran would say “ Don’t say you don’t like it, ‘till you’ve tried it!”,  so I will try some, but don’t think I can eat a whole one.
So, bring on the neeps and tatties ….

    Oooh I've never seen a Haggis that shape or size before!! thought they were round - but that is something else...lol. Enjoy!!

    Don't ask what it is made from either. Here they use pretty much the whole cow for food. You can get tacos with eyes, brains, cheeks, innards or hoof jelly but I'm not a mad cow.

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
