Darrell Chances His Luck In The Teddy Tombola

When Darrell got up this morning he could see that something was occurring down in the town, on the quay …. so he took himself down the many steps to investigate, while Nigel and I finished breakfast …..

What he found was a Macmillan Coffee Morning and bric a brac sale.

He was very excited in a fundraising type nature, so he bought a couple of cakes ….

….. and chanced his luck on the Teddy Tombola.

He bought five tickets and his anticipation was palpable as he poked the straws containing the tickets with a cocktail stick, hoping that one of them would have a 0 on the end for a BIG prize or a 5 on the end for a smaller prize …..

Lady luck was indeed smiling down on Darrell as on his very last straw he found a number ending with 5 ….. winning him a very cute rabbit ….. quelle bonne chance as they say in France!

    Marvin also has a rabbit - he takes it to bed at night and it's never far from his side in case he gets a bit lonely here! Not that he would want that to become public information you understand. Well done on the win - hugs, Di and Marvin xx

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!!
