We had the most brilliant Easter Sunday ever …….
The Easter Bunny had been in the night and had hidden baby chocolate bunnies all over the garden. Nigel was sooooo excited and also most anxious that we found them all as quickly as possible before they melted thus rendering them uneatable.
Darrell and Nigel decided to work together as a well honed and robust chocolate bunny finding team machine …….
…… with Darrell as the brains (??????!!!!!!)
We had so much mahoooosive fun …… and managed to find twenty bunnies in all, which was most eggcellent and bunnytastic!
Darrell and I decided that it would be best if we rationed the bunnies to one each per day to make the Easter joy linger a little longer …….
……. and more importantly, because we wanted to avoid any unpleasant projectile sickness situation with Nigel due to the over consumption of chocolate and seasonal excitement!!!! A Hoppy Hoppy Day in the style of a Hello magazine type feature!
Lovely! Bet it was great fun boys - I wore my bunny ears today, plus a fluffy tail pinned to the seat of my jeans - when I got the elasticated pink nose with whiskers out Len threatened to send for the men in white coats. I'm spending next Easter with you!! Di xx

ReplyDeleteWhat an eggcellent day, it must have been most eggciting and everyone got plenty of eggcercise. This is eggsactly what eggcentric and eggsotic young monkeys need. What an eggsperience, you must have been eggstatic, unless you eggsaggerated with eggcessive and eggstravagant eggstras in your blog. There would be no eggscuse for this. Were the bunnies eggstraodinary, eggceptional and eggspensive? Do you have any eggsamples left for Tom the Scientist to do an eggsperiment or an eggsamination? I hope he doesn’t cause an eggsplosion and make an eggshibition of himself but just eggsamine them eggstremeley carefully. Eating too many will cause your stomach to eggspand as eggspected. Time for me to make my eggsit.
