Nigel’s Moment of Innocent Whimsy

A Sad Tale
On their way to work Darrell and Nigel spied this strange broken toy  just lying on the pavement ….

…… And for some strange, spooky reason of a Derek Acorah type nature, it filled them both with an incredibly sad feeling, despite previously being in  buoyant mood…..
Every picture Tells
Nigel didn’t want to leave it alone on the kerbside and pleaded to stay with it a while longer …. but Darrell said that there was nothing they could do, and it would be best to leave it where it was and let nature take its course

….. Nigel sniffed and then mused that ….. “Perhaps a small bird might come along and build its nest within the empty shell and thus life would begin anew within in it!”  He has his moments does Nigel, …… moments of innocent and hopeful whimsy!

    That little toy does evoke sympathetic thoughts about it's history. Nigel's sensitive thoughts about it are so very dear and poignant. It would be perfect for a bird family to give it a new lease on life..Dianne

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!!
