Nigel, Matrimonial Pied Piper?

You will be glad to know that Nigel is recovering gradually from the pre- nup bombshell, dropped by The Lovely Laura that he won’t be Matron of Honour, Bridesmaid or Petal Scatter at the impending nuptials, something he had just unfortunately,  wrongly assumed, without foundation!040However, The Lovely Laura’s mum, the Equally Lovely Denise on seeing Nigel’s crestfallen little face and sad demeanour at our last Wedding Craft Night at Castle Greysquirrel, took pity on him and gave him the very special, and unique matrimonial responsibility of taking care of The Mother of The Brides Mice …….
crochet mice.These are the mice that she has been diligently crocheting as wedding favours for all the gentlemen (including us!) that are cunningly disguised fridge magnets!
Crochet MiceNigel’s smile has now been restored and he has taken to giving each mouse a name according to the expression on its face … but how you tell your Dwaynes from your Waynes only Nigel knows ….. I just hope we don’t get any “Mouse Detachment” dilemmas when it is time for them to leave us……… !!!

    Nigel should attach a magnet the rear of his suit and he could have a train of mouse magnets as he walks down the aisle.

    I'm so happy for Nigel! You need to prepare him for their departure and assure him they will be happy elsewhere.

    I grew up on a farm and was told when my piglets were sent away that they had gone on holiday. I was a little young to realise that theirs was the type of holiday from which you didn't return!

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
