When we saw this poster we just couldn’t believe it ……
It was as if Last Vegas knew we were coming ….. and wanted us to feel at home ….. what are they like?To say we have eaten well on our holiday of a lifetime holiday is an itsy bitsy bit of an understatement …. even Nigel has found the portions mahooooosive and, as you all know, he can eat!!!
For example …… this was Darrell’s breakfast the other day!!! So, it didn’t take us long before we all decided to mostly share a child size meal, rather than fill up our room with “doggy bags” …… delightful though onion rings and cold pizza are at three o’clock in the morning, when we fancy a Scooby snack, while watching The Big Bang Theory!
We have also become fans of the famous Last Vegas buffet …. because we have been able to try lots of the different American delicacies we have always dreamed of trying ….. like …
….. Oreo cheesecake ……
…… Eggs Benedict …..
……. and grits …… the breakfast repast of cowboys, something you always imagine John Wayne tucking into before a long day in the saddle …. ! However, can we say …… very politely, after sampling their delights, they would not really be our own American breakfast of choice!
All in all ……

……. that, we have enjoyed ……
…… an ample sufficiency ……
Great food and huge portions. Watch that waistline.

Grits are absolutely an acquired taste......positively not for me, they are a dish usually served in the south.....some people in nearby areas come to Las Vegas to eat! Vegas knows how to be in the know with the latest most up to date phrases, hence the nom and nom-noms......not certain if they knew when you were coming, but nice they were prepared to make you feel at home....Dianne
