Darrell phoned last night, a little embarrassed ………..…
….. to admit me that despite his inane intimate innate Wolverhampton prowess for finding his way around in London ….. he had got lost on his travels, and had somehow missed Kensington High Street completely, (where he had hoped to make a few considered purchases), and had ended up at Shepherds Bush instead!!! What is he like?

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
Getting lost is a great way to find new places - take the road less travelled.
ReplyDeleteyou were going the wrong way mind you you could have gone on to Hammersmith and caught the district line steptoe and son was filmed around shepherds bush and it has a good market and some tacky shops which are always fun o a did i mention the giant new shopping centre Westfield's you could have had a look around there but as mr d said its a great way to find new places i use to do that a lot just get on the tube and say ok i am getting of in 6 ,8 12 stops and see what is there if i new the place i would catch a bus it was a great way of finding new places and making the most of your travel card big adventurous love marc
