I'm with you there Darrell! I don't own a tumble drier and at every opportunity my washing is on the line. I love smelling it just as you're doing in the photo LOL!
ReplyDeleteAh, truly one of life's simple small pleasures that remains with us; it can't be imitated.....also freshly mown grass and lilacs in May......when I was a young girl and lived where it was cold, sheets and towels were hung out even in winter and brought in frozen and stiff as a board!......Dianne

ReplyDeletei have my bed sheets and bath towels washed in fresh hot water springs they are then hand fan dried by exotic gasher girls in a rose petalled room in china town who then send it to a convent in france were they are pressed and ironed by 80 year old nuns using flat irons filed with lavender they then flown back to me in london as i cant hang washing in my private gardens and i do like the simple things in life big showbiz wave Hugh
