Oh dear …….. Darrell is absolutely beside himself, he just cannot believe that he could have been so stupid as to delete hundreds of pictures all linked to this blog ……. extremely, extremely, tearful is the only way to describe him at the moment. 
It can be put right ….. it will just take a long time to put all the pictures back in the posts going back as far as January ……… but he has vouched safe that he will do it ……. however, his first priority is to keep the blog going at the moment ……. so could we ask you to bear with us for a while …… and would you mind awfully if we just post every other day until he can get on top of things ……

WAIT! I sent Mum a comment - all might not be as bleak as you think. It depends on whether you had the images on your PC - Piriform do a brilliant FREE recovery tool called Recuva. It will restore stuff you thought was lost - 'cos deleting just removes references (ie. the index) to data - the bits and bytes are still there until eventually overwritten. Have asked Mum to email me if she needs help!
