Sign City

After the excitement of yesterday’s single road sign going up opposite Castle Greysquirrel, today we arrived home to find a whole plethora of the blessed things, all within 50 yards of the castle’s portals!
We’ve got skid risks, chippings warnings, maximums speeds of 10mph ……. plus no road markings ….. all directly across the road from us …
…… not to mention the very romantic and almost Wuthering Heights worthy  sounding periodic sweepings …
 There will be absolutely no doing with Nigel now, this sudden and robust signage eruption and ensuing roadworks is almost unprecedented ..................
.......... it’s almost as if our village is preparing for a visit of an important royal state type visit ................ OH MON DIEU ...................... the penny has just dropped ..... could this all be connected to Hugh's impending visit?????????
AND, as if that wasn’t enough ………….. MotorWorld is in the very midst of a very exhilarating half price sale …… it’s almost TOO much!!!

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
