With all the excitement of Hugh’s state visit is would have been an easy, but a very remiss oversight to perhaps forget the fact that Darrell booked our Greek odyssey holiday to Grease way before the mench and commotion of Hugh’s aforementioned visit ……..
However, while Darrell and Hugh have been out and about with Hugh I have stayed at home diligently washing, ironing, packing and sorting out all the necessary for said odyssey on their behalf …… 
……. ensuring that at 4.00am prompt tomorrow morning, while it is still dark, our taxi will be here to pick us up and deliver us to Manchester airport for our odyssey to begin! So, the next time you will see us …. we will be in Grease!!!! Our lives may not be as showbiz and air kissy as Hugh’s, but no one can ever accuse us of letting the grass grow beneath our feet!
It's just one adventure after the next. Not quite sure about the Mexico hat - is Nigel angling for an invite a mi casa? He is most welcome.
ReplyDeleteOh my, the excitement never ends!......not sure if Greece (sorry Grease) has a lot of grass underfoot, I always envision lots of rocky terrain ......also I am fairly certain no John Travolta or Olivia N J having summer loving but I do know you will be much admired for your seasoned traveler je ne sais quoi!......Enjoy those beaches!......Dianne
