Darrell and Nigel have taken to coming home and changing straight into their festive Halloween garb ….. in order, they say, to embrace the season to its fullest (????) and to get maximum wearage out of their pumpkin costumes. Sometimes I just despair!
And so naturally along with the costumes and the embracing I fear comes the tricking and treating …….
…….. and last night was the perfect example! Darrell told Nigel to sit at the kitchen table facing the washing machine and told NOT to look round or peep OR else ….. as Darrell had a little surprise planned!
So Nigel sat and hummed to himself, but didn’t move a single nano metre, his eyes firmly transfixed on said washing machine ….. for fear of putting the kybosh on something he hoped would be very, very special …… 
…… while Darrell created in the kitchen, in his best Gordon Ramsey style, with a glazed donut, a pair of fangs and two green jelly beans!
……. to create this monstrosity!!!!
And then, tiptoeing up to Nigel and putting the plate in front of him, told Nigel he could “look now!!!”
I think you can imagine the mayhem and hilarity that then ensued ……
…… as Nigel proceeded to eat this totally weird seasonal comestible!!! But there was more ….. much more to follow …… to be continued tomorrow…….
