OMD …… News So Unbelievable It’s Almost Impossible To Comprehend!!!

Yesterday morning I awoke to hear on the radio that Australia will be taking part in this years Eurovision Song Contest, which as you know is the televisual highlight of Castle Greysquirrel’s year.  At first I thought I must be was dreaming, but after looking on the internet, it’s true!!!!  Oh mon dieu!!!
logoThis is just too big for me to get my head round at the moment and how do I explain to Nigel that Australia is now part of Europe ……. I can see him now heading for the Geography Department  to ask his Geographical friend Alex how this came to be and getting all alarmed about mahoooooosive Seismic shifts while he was sleeping.And if Australia win in Vienna this year and they host the contest in 2016, the time difference will be at least 11 hours, what will happen to the contest?  Will we have to watch it in the early hours of the morning or in the afternoon? Questions will have to be asked in the European Parliament.

    There is a quandary looming with this Australian time difference..but that must have been taken in account by the producers.....those in the know probably have it all figured out so Nigel needn't worry.....sounds like interesting things ahead for your beloved song fest!...Dianne

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
