Evesham Christmas Market

Before we travelled home for the Christmas holiday Nigel and I decided to have a look round the Evesham Christmas Market.

We didn’t really need anything, but it’s always nice to have a mooch and as you know, we are great moochers.

There was a jewellery stall, garden ornaments, Mediterranean comestibles, lots of festive flower arrangements and greenery, Christmas stockings and of course the compulsory stall laden with woolly socks.  Nigel said he could be tempted to a mulled wine, but I said not at eleven o’clock in the morning he wouldn’t!
IMG_7502There was also a gentleman creating works of art in sand, not what you would expect to find in Evesham, so far away from the sea, but needless to say, Nigel was very, very impressed …….

    Looks like a lot of Christmas goodies to tempt you!...hard to resist in all that festive fun...sand sculpture will be a good time waiting to happen! .....Dianne

    The Christmas market sounds very interesting. I wonder what sand sculpture Nigel would choose to create??!!

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
