After all the excitement of our wonderful parcel of presents from Jan the Fan, Darrell was down on the riverbank before you could say “dangle my maggot”, rod in hand, to see if he erm …..would turn heads!
But, as there was a serious fishing match in progress, all eyes were firmly set on the fishermen’s quiver tips, rather than Darrell’s many pocketed gilet.
However, it didn’t stop Darrell doing his best casual cat walk stroll and flounce past the various platforms, just in case anyone did look up.
No one did, despite the carefully positioned coquettish angle of Darrell’s hat. Perhaps, next time he should try doing some actual fishing in order to get a reaction, although, to be honest, Darrell was pretty loathe to get any maggot juice on his fabuuuuuuuulousssss outfit darling! Oh good grief, I can only blame Jan the Fan for this!!!
What a shame no-one commented on Darrells new outfit-I guess the fishermen were concentrating on the fish etc. I think Darrell needs to try again on a different day.

I think if Darrell did fishing with this outfit on he wouldn't need any quiver tips on his rod - the fish would spot this on trend fisherman a mile off and would be swimming to the surface to have a look! JantheFan x
ReplyDeleteSooner or later Darrell is bound to be noticed in this great gear looking so very much like an experienced fisherman. The hat alone should identify him as the real deal in the fisherman's eyes. Sauntering along the riverside is definitely going to be Darrell's main occupation!....Looking good Darrell!.....Love, Dianne
