All Fur Coat?

I know Darrell had a few restless nights over his choice of tiles for our bijoux, open plan kitchen, especially as he went against all that is presently on-trend of a kitchen tile/houses under the hammer type nature,  but I have to say, the boy done good.
Topps TilesAndy did a great job in bringing all of Darrell’s ideas together and our said bijoux, open plan kitchen area now looks wonderful.

It seems much more proper now it is tiled, if you know what I mean  and should be a lot easier to keep clean.
Topps Tiles. With everything looking so lovely, it has also bought out Darrell’s inner compulsive cleaner and so he has wet wiped and tidied all the cupboards like there is no tomorrow ……..

……. muttering something like “ ……. we will never be found to be all fur coat and no knickers under his watch!”
How Clean is you houseWhat is he like?

  2. The kitchen is lovely great. My Mum used to use the phrase "all fur coat & no knickers "-you've just reminded me of that, took me years to understand what she meant.

p.s. if Darrell's inner compulsive cleaner gets his rubber gloves on anytime - get him up here pronto - he can clean my cupboards out anytime he likes!

  4. Darrell's cleaning and organizing is spectacular; never a worry should anyone open a cabinet door! Love the baskets for organizing! You can never go wrong with classic choices that always look good and will stand the test of time. Trends come and thankfully go, but some are good for a laugh! Does anyone remember avocado green and harvest gold appliances as well as multi coloured shag carpeting??? ..or was that only in the US?? ...Darrell's design talent has ensured Riverside Towers will always look it's best....love the kitchen,Dianne

  5. Dianne,
I don't remember avocado green and harvest gold appliances nor multi coloured shag carpeting. Maybe they didn't get as far as blighty or maybe I am too young to remember, although I doubt the latter.

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
