German Confectionary Review No. 3–Milka Kuhflecken.

Our understanding of the German language continues to gather apace, we now know that Kuhflecken means Happy Cow, and should we ever travel to Teutonic lands, we shall endeavour to mention it in all conversation, be it relevant and irrelevant!  What are we like ……… but almost German!!!
Milka KuhfleckenSo today, Nigel selected the bar of Milka Kuhflecken from our box of German confectionary delights, a wonderful gift from our overseas friends Ze Monkeys.
Milka Cow Patterned ChocolateWe have enjoyed Milka chocolate before, if not this actual variety, and knew that we were in for a treat, a smooth, creamy quality chocolate, comforting and in this case with the extra novelty of having a random cow pattern incorporated, made up of white and milk chocolate …… let’s just say it delivered and delivered again, must robustly.
Milka Happy Cow ChocolateIn fact, it made us so mellow and relaxed we adjourned to the settee to really unwind and enjoy all it’s pleasures in full, with a bit of afternoon Judge Rinder (our all time Judge of Judicial Choice) and awarded it an unprecedented and without   jurisprudence 649 out of 650 on our Richter Scale of German Happy Cow Noms ………

    This score is mind boggling score of cow noms - my son is over in Germany soon - I will push a little note into his hands as he enters the departure lounge - you know what it will say - and I will be expectant on his return! JantheFan x

    Nomtastic.
    Does the pattern on the chocolate look like a cow with different colours on its fur? I have seen this chocolate before. Is it available in the UK?

    Glad you like the chocolate! In order to save you some trouble and questioning looks, we feel obliged to clarify that "Kuhflecken" does not actually mean Happy Cow, it's the pattern of the cow, which should also answer Mr. D's question. :)

    Wow! that chocolate cow does look creamy and delicious and deserving of that fantastic score; maybe that will make it a happy cow!..what a special opportunity it is to review these wonderful treats; we are all envious! ....wondering what is next,Dianne

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
