In Need Of A Little Solitude

Darrell found a forlorn looking duck sat sitting in the middle of our road this morning …………
IMG_2105He reckons that it must be such chaos down on the riverbank at the moment, what with the rampant building of nests, followed by duck and swanlings hatching left, right and centre ….. and then splashing precariously about in the water trying to learn how to swim ……
IMG_2103……. that this poor duck just wanted a little bit of peace and quiet ………
IMG_2102…… and a temporary return to normality ……. living with Darrell and Nigel I know just how it feels!!!

    AWWWWWW......poor guy; it was all getting to be too much.....needing peace and quiet is only natural with all that hubub....hopefully he found it before the traffic got heavy.....busy riverfront these days!...Love, Dianne

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
