The Day After The Day Before …….

SORRY MR D  ....... problems with our scheduler ....... this post was meant for today not yesterday! 

Happy  1st November!

I have to say our Halloween celebrations were quite, quite wonderful …….

…… and as party planners, with Darrell at the helm, we should give ourselves a hearty pat on the back.

……. to the pass the parcel, the wiggly snake hunt ….

……….. and the skull and spoon races in the garden, with spooky spider laden medals for everyone, it was emotional ……..
As was the washing and tidying up afterwards …… however, the squeals of delight from our beloved Iris and Bertie still ringing in our ears helped to lighten our load as we reminisced on their little ways, Iris playing being a baby bat looking for mice and moths to eat and seeing Young Master Bertie circumnavigate The Towers lounge all on his own for the very first time ……. it really was a magical Halloween!

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
