The lady friend of Hugh’s “gentleman that does” usually drops off a three course meal plus cheese and crackers when Hugh is in residence at Le Chicken Coup, but Hugh, wanting to be just “normal” for a day or two, told her that while he was at home with Darrell they would try and fend for themselves ……. bless him!
Darrell text to tell me that teaching Hugh how to peel a potato had been a very warm bonding experience for both of them …… well, there’s an awful lot of the world you can put right in the two or so hours it took to peel their pound of spuds …… 
……. after which Hugh announced that he felt ready for the challenge of a few carrots, announcing that it was all very cathartic …….
…….. but a trifle fatigued after that asked Darrell if he would mind doing the cabbage! What is he like?
no doubt about it, potato peeling is a bonding experience!.....is Hugh in the process of exploring his domestic talents?......will be eye opening for everyone, especially for Hugh!.......Happy Holidays, Love, Dianne
