A couple of days ago, you may remember, Nigel was full of anticipation for what he thought would be an “unveiling” of a grand festive type nature in the charity shop on our way into town, with two mysterious, bin bag clad manikins standing resplendent in the window.
After looking patiently day after day, but finding that no great reveal had yet been performed, curiosity got the better of him and he went inside to ask what was under the bags of mystery and when would all be revealed ………
The answer he received was not at all what he had expected ……the lady explained that the bags were there merely to cover the naked said manikins because they haven’t any suitable outfits to put on them at the moment ….
Poor Nigel, his glittered festive bubble of hope, in this instance, has sadly been shattered!
Poor Nigel, with his very active imagination. Maybe Darrell can give the shop some en trend pointers.
ReplyDeleteOH NO!....so much anticipation and mystery thwarted by a plain old common ordinary reason!...wonder if the shop is waiting for posh party dresses to dress them up for the holidays!.....love, Dianne
