News Of Nigel’s Swanlings

Nigel’s beloved swanlings have all but grown up, although you can still see a few of their baby grey feathers.

And, yesterday, Nigel noticed that one of them had started to become more independent ………

….. leaving Mum and Dad, even in the pouring rain, to swim up to our part of the river
IMG_6700It was an emotional and poignant moment for Nigel,  who vowed that he will NEVER ever leave Darrell and I ……….IMG_6702
………… not ever, ever, ever!  Bless him.

    Would never do for the threesome to venture far apart for very long....after all, they are family in the truest sense; kindly caring additions to the family are always possible!....always poignant when it is time for birds to leave the nest......much love, Dianne

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
