I thought we were almost packed for our Cretan Odyssey …….. but then Nigel, bless him, disappeared up to Aldi and came up with a late last addition to our suitcase…………

He said that he had originally set his heart on a flamingo one, after Darrell had told him that flamingos were “ ….tres de rigueur sur la plage” this summer, but sadly, the one he had his eye on in The Works had all sold out.
Said blow up donut is absolutely mahoooooooosive and as such will require, I sense, an awful amount of puff to get it sea worthy, which begs the question ……….
……. which mug monkey is going to volunteer to blow it up each day ……… Nigel?!!
The sprinkles on top really add the finishing touch.
