Oh my goodness, we got home yesterday to find a large envelope sat sitting outside our front door ….. we all just assumed it was advertising so gave it scant attention, and there it lay on the table until Darrell was about to take the rubbish out, and thought he’d best open said envelope “just in case”
What he found inside had us all reeling. It was a calendar and matching pen from Prospect Coaches from our “bus booking” days back at the Girls High School.
Let’s just say it was emotional ……. very, very emotional.
To think they still thought us, after all this time, we must have made quite an impression.
I have to admit we momentarily hankered for those, at times, heady days and the buzz of a satisfactory booked bus executive travel vehicle. These days we are very much strangers to any sort of bus or coach travel ….. but then we thought …..no, it was brilliant while it lasted, but our baby filled days …… well, we wouldn’t swop them for all the world.
Well done, Prospect Coaches. No doubt you are still very highly thought of in many parts of Wolverhampton and its environs.
