Looking After The PE and Finance Ladies

Despite his disappointment over his Italian Trip Nigel was determined to entertain The PE and Finance Lady, as promised, with the pleasures of Evesham, to wit it's many charity shops, of which they were, once more, keen to explore.

Due to the inclement weather it was decided it might be best to take The PE Lady's new car into town, which impressed Nigel no end, especially its reversing camera, which made him wonder if he could have something similar fitted on Bertie's pushchair for the nursery/school run.

I am pleased to say that Evesham did not disappoint, bringing with it an exceptionally buoyant mood, with several jigsaws, a pair of top end shoes and boots, a dvd of The Secret Garden, a jumper and two basset hound ornaments duly purchased ..........

....... plus a ornamental mushroom put together by the PE Lady using a small glass vase and pudding bowl, which was much admired by the group but the shop assistants reaction was a little less certain.

Their happy moochings was then followed by a slap up lunch at Whetherspoons, Nigel opting for a mahooooosive bowl of chips and curry sauce and then a jubilant return home to show Darrell and I all their treasures.  Happy Days!
