XXX HAPPY HAPPY EASTER XXX
Easter Sunday bought an emotional awakening this morning .......... to be honest Darrell and I both thought we would probably all be sharing the long lost Christmas Chocolate Orange Darrell found at the back of the cupboard while he was spring cleaning, as our Easter treat ...
But no, Nigel stepped up to the plate after he got wind that Gummy Gumdrops our confectionery emporium of choice were offering to deliver special Easter selection boxes, "Well," he said "It would have looked really rude not to avail ourselves, wouldn't it? "
At first, it was emotional (of which we seem to be experiencing quite a lot of, of late), but when we had all composed ourselves we just stared at, then lovingly stroked each packet of festive delicacies ........ marshmallow bunnies, squashie chicks, jelly bunnies, carrots and fried eggs, mini chocolate eggs, a posh chocolate bunny and three cream eggs.
It was all too wonderful for words ........ and Nigel, bless him saved the day. His thought and kindness was certainly not found wanting on during this unprecedented lockdown Easter Sunday.
Darrell put a little bit of everything in the seasonal carrot dishes Nigel had also kept hidden under the bed, after finding them in Poundland during one of his shopping jaunts (pre-lockdown) with Lucy. It's a very different sort of Easter this year ...... but we have not been found wanting!

Today, we had food delivered from a local restaurant. We enjoyed the tasty food, and we help keep people in work.
