With us all suitably donned in our festive Halloween apparel Nigel decided that this year we were missing something of great import ……… so off he popped into town ……
…… returning within the hour with a “relevant gift of our times” for both Darrell and I.
What can we say?
He was pretty chuffed with himself, as were we, with our presents, however on closer inspection none of us could be entirely sure just how robust and protective said masks would be in the public arena as they only consisted of one layer ……….
…….now, not wishing to upset Nigel, but ever the style guru, Darrell quickly thought of an alternative way of wearing them, keeping in the spirit of the season ………
……. by suggesting, instead, that both he and I put our arms through the ear slits and then fashion the masks into a sort of short tabard/scarf neck ensemble …… the boy is a genius!
It was a real win win situation ……. happy 2020 a la mode, Avant Garde and de rigueur Halloween type days! What are we like?

You could always wear a decent face mask underneath, and have the scary one, just for show, on top.
Would the scary face mask stop death breath? That sounds like a suitably Halloween-like thing.
