Fridays Word Of The Week ……..

Today, a word or feeling familiar to us all I think, not least Darrell who is almost in a constant state of this, what with all his tidying ways ……..

I present you with “huckmuck”  - the confusion that results when things aren’t in the place you expected them to be ……..

……. especially, in Darrell’s case, after giving The Towers, what he likes to call a good rogering bottoming …….

……… after which you can lay bets on him not being able to find various bits and pieces he’s “put somewhere safe” ……..

…… which is generally followed by him having to have a little lie down because he’s developed one of his heads with the stress of it all,   what is he like?

    I think Darrell needs to try the approach my crazy friend uses-When an item she’s looking for goes missing she says out lid in the room “ok gremlins, you have your fun. Please can you return the X” and usually by the next day the missing items has returned! She swears it works.

    Great word! I Googled it, to check the etymology, and came across another: snollygoster.

    Many politicians are terrible snollygosters. :)

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
