Oh my goodness ……..
……… I think both Lu and I have eaten each others body weight in ice-cream!
I can’t believe how many flavours there are to choose from, it’s been quite overwhelming at times ………
We both started off well, with a double tub of Milky Bar and pistachio for me and a single, ladylike and reserved Ferrero Rocher for Lu …………
…….. but after that I am not quite sure what happened ……….
……. there was erm, let me think, chocolate orange, tequila, bursting bubble-gum, Oreo’s and cream, tutti fruiti, sticky toffee fudge, biscoff, New York Cheese Cake, Bakewell Tart, Baileys Irish Cream, rum and raisin, jelly bear, amaretto and cherry, mint choc chip …….. to name but a few ………
…….. and that’s not counting the Mr Whippy’s ………
I mean, what’s a monkey to do on a British staycation and with Southport's overwhelming hospitality laid out before us, it would have looked soooooooooo rude not to indulge in just a few of it’s pleasures of ……. wouldn’t it?

ReplyDeleteYears ago, I went to an ice cream parlour in Venezuela, which has the Guinness record for the most flavours.
I had Viagra flavour, among others. I don't think they sold Guinness flavour, however.

Sorry to say this Monkey, but Rossi's ice-cream is the best, it's made in Southend-on-Sea, which is where I live. If I thought it wouldn't melt, I would send you some!
