Now, Nigel is very precious abut his days on the school run rota, but when Lucy proffered a couple of days away in Poole and Bournemouth, the pull of the sea got the better of him ……..
So, with Darrell agreeing to take on Nigel’s duties for a couple of days plus a whole note book full of instructions, his suitcase was packed and he was off …….. besides, as he said, it would have looked unbelievably rude if he hadn’t accepted such a kind offer.
I feel that I ought to point out that although we didn’t notice at the time, Nigel sustained a little bruising to his face during our Halloween Midnight Walk, Bertie had bumped in to him in amongst the mayhem of total darkness and although Nigel dismissed it, the next day the bruising started to come out.
So jokingly he says he’s using his time away to “convalesce” and he’ll be consulting his solicitor on his return! What is he like?

Oh that looks a lovely sandy beach....any excuse for time by the sea, I'm with young Nige about that one. Hope he has a lovely time. I have a Subconjunctival haemorrhage - does that mean I need some beach time too???? Hope so. JantheFan x
