Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteElvis liked burgers, which, I swear, he could get at the chip shop. There's a guy works down the chip shop swears so, too.
Elvis isn't up The Regal. Elvis has left the building.
I once taught a brother and sister. The brother was Aaron and the sister was Elvita. I asked the sister if one of their parents liked Elvis. It turned out that the dad was a massive fan. Elvis' middle name was Aaron.
In a similar vein, I once taught a girl called Cosima. I asked if a parent liked the composer Liszt, and she said her mum loved his music. Liszt's daughter was called Cosima. She was Wagner's second wife.
I also taught a girl called Diana Hunt. I asked if she was named after the goddess of the hunt, but she had no idea what I was talking about. Diana was the Roman goddess of the hunt.
