The One That Got Away …..

WHERE ……. was this little beauty when Nigel was so robustly diligent in scouring the charity shops far and wide for “just the most perfect” sustainable gifts to give this Christmas?

A wondrously romantic  confection of delicate of fish tank type coral entwined with faux ivy and visited upon by three googly eyed, net winged, plush bumble bees, of which, if Nigel had got his little mitts on it in time for Christmas 2022, would no doubt, have evoked great envy by those not receiving, but watching it’s unwrapping.

And at £1.99 it would have been rude not to make a considered purchase. However, with over 11 months to go, Nigel decided to reluctantly leave it for someone else …….. as such a thing of charm and grace should be on display now and not stored under his bed, gathering dust until the “Big Day” is upon us again at the end of the year. What on earth is he like?

    What an unusual item, and an unusual gift. To whom would you give it? A best friend? Or a worst enemy?

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
