Ne'er cast a clout ………

…….. till May is out!

Greeting and a very happy 1st of June to you all, punch pinch, white rabbits three times and all that!

You find us in buoyant with all our clouts well and truly caste to the wind with unfettered and unbridled gay abandon. The Nigel’s vests have been washed and ironed and safely put away in one of Darrell’s many seasonal vacuum bags until early October at the very least ………

…… and Darrell was also in suitably  light, blithe and breezy mood …….

…….. risking changing over our robust, snuggly, 13.5 tog winter duvets to a much more unshackled 4.5 tog lightweight version.

Yes, we’ve gone all giddy and devil may care, as we teeter on the very cusp of what hopefully will be a glorious summer.  What are we like?

    I hope Nigel doesn't get a cold breeze up round his unmentionables, now that he has cast off his clobber.

    "N'er cast a clout till May is out" is sound advice for the UK, but not so much, here in Mexico, where is it shorts and tee shirts for much of the year.

    Oh Mr D - I think I need to come and live in Mexico - what I'd do for a bit of warmth all year round.
    Loving the spring and devil may care abandonment boyz - and Darrell you are rocking that gorgeous spring quilt cover!

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
