An Emotional First Night Welcome

Soooooooo, this is the hotel we were supposed to stay at before zee dreaded Covid hit ………

……… so as we’ve said several times before, this years Oddity has been a long time in the making and coming  ………

……. however, so far, it’s been well worth the wait! 

Last night, our first night, there was a most wonderous firework display, which, although no one actually said anything to us   ………..

……. we’re pretty sure was in honour of our arrival, what are they like?

Let’s just say the emotion on our balcony as we oooooed and ahhhhed was rife of an abundant type nature, there wasn’t a dry eye amongst us.

I guess, after all these years, we are now though of as  honorary Greeks!
