A Short But Sweet Visit, But Nigel Still Finds Time To Embrace The Pleasures Of Looe!!

Nigel didn’t want to waste a single second on his whistle stop wedding trip to Cornwall.
IMG_5744His first priority was to do a little sightseeing in Looe ……. mainly, of a pastie shop type nature …..
IMG_5746…… and Looe did not disappoint! however, Nigel did manage to refrain from purchasing all ten pasties, although the offer was extremely tempting, no, even for Nigel, three pasties sufficed (one for breakfast, dinner and tea), as he said “Enough, is as good as a feast!” …………..
IMG_5747……. especially when faced with all manner of other Cornish temptations………
IMG_5751……. and atmospheric tearooms ……
IMG_5750IMG_5749
….. of which it would have looked most rude not to frequent!

Nigel thought Looe was very, very, very romantic and wished he had more time too mooch around the town ……
IMG_5754……. but then, he felt the pull of the sea …..
IMG_5752IMG_5753
…… and for Nigel, the sea wins every time ……
IMG_5755IMG_5756
……. it may have been grey, perhaps even a little bleak ……and undeniably cold ……..

…… but nothing could/would stop Nigel from ever having a cheeky little paddle, especially as this would probably be the last opportunity in 2015 ………and to hell with chilblains ……
IMG_5759…… it was worth every single freezing second.  Looe was a very lovely place indeed, perhaps next year, he thought, he could perhaps add a longer visit to his seaside bucket list!

  3. Wise choice on limiting the pasties; wouldn't want to guild the lily when there are more delicious goodies waiting! .....the sea with it's lonely but romantic vista is still beautiful on chilly grey days...lucky Nigel storing up more Cornwall images ......Dianne

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
