Evesham has a new set of six boundary signs, each depicting a famous and celebrated Evesham landmark …….
…… if we are honest, perhaps they lack the certain glamour of the iconic Las Vegas boundary sign ……….. but give it time, you never know.
But, we still feel a small element of pride ……..
……., however, we think by adding the word “romantic” to the legend, thereby making it “Evesham Romantic and Historical Riverside Market Town” it could very well attract a few more tourists to pose next to them, (all be it minus the odd Elvis or two), as Nigel has so expertly demonstrated…….. what are we like?
They should also advertise the town as "Home to the world famous Mum and her monkeys."
