Spotted In Evesham ……..

Awwww, yesterday Nigel spotted his first ever “Dum Dum Tree” …….

…… cluster of around seven dummies tied with ribbon and hung on a branch on a tree up the road ………

…….. left for the Dummy Fairy.
Dum Dum Tree.
He said it made him come over all emotional.  He wasn’t sure if he ever had a dummy when he was a baby as he doesn’t have any memory of before Darrell and I found him in our box of teabags all those years ago …….
…….but if he did, he’d like to think that said fairy had put it away somewhere special for when our beloved Young Master Bertie came along …… and then Darrell and I came over all emotional too!  What are we like?

    I have never heard of a Dum Dum tree but I have heard if a dumdum bullet.

    Well a Dum Dum tree? Never heard or seen one of those before - my son's two dummies turned into Donald & Douglas, twin engines from The Thomas the Tank Engine stories, overnight when we were on holiday - many years ago.........ahhh, happy days.....JantheFan x

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
