…… except that this morning, when Nigel bought the post in, The Towers was filled with raw and rampant tangible and palpable emotion, and that’s putting it mildly!
It was a card, from our very beloved No. 1 fan, Jan The Fan.
The front made us all laugh as Darrell has been fretting something terrible about the condition of his “isolation hair”, but it was what was written inside that got the unashamed sniffles going …….
I tried to keep it together for Darrell and Nigel, but I failed miserably ….
We’ve been trying our best to stay buoyant and upbeat throughout all of this flipping meltdown, but now and again, we’ll admit, the continued isolation has got to all of us at one stage or another …….. but this message, once we'd managed to compose ourselves, puffed us up no end. We'd never once thought that our daily doings were helping to keep our beloved country happy, we are indeed honoured and to quote Katrina and The Waves -"We're Walking On Sunshine!” Thank you so much Jan the Fan for a emotional morning we won’t forget for a long, long time!!!!
