There was much activity on the river bank last night ……..
……. as per usual I tried to shield Nigel, but it was impossible……..
…….. but when you have a large group of manly fishermen, poles and rods in hand, decide to set up camp for an overnight fishing session …….. shielding Nigel is futile
……. it was tent city akimbo down there ……
…….. and Nigel soon up against the fence, looking longingly with his big puppy dog eyes, absolutely desperate to be invited to “come on down …….”
It was all I could do to stop him offering our ensuite facilities in the morning in exchange for a few fisherman's tales round their camp stove.
However, to be honest, this time we actually got to see the one that got away …….. when one of said fisherman managed to hook a small motor boat, priceless ………. no one can EVER say it’s dull at The Towers!
So, seeing as they don't use your ensuite, how do these fisherpeople go to the toilet? I hope Nigel didn't get an eyeful he wasn't bargaining for, to find out.
