Geralds Supermarket, Dawlish

No short break in Dawlish would be complete without at least one visit to our very favourite supermarket when in foreign climes, Geralds.

It’s brilliant, as you just never know what you’re going to stumble upon ………. from toys to biscuits, hot sausage rolls to bucket and spades, pork scratchings to real Devon cider, they’ve got everything.

So when you’re in  the right place at the right time and they are offering free ice cream samples …….

…… well, it would be rude not to avail oneself, wouldn’t it?

Especially when they even had Darrell’s very most favourite flavour ever, ever, ever,  pistachio ……..

……… it just doesn’t get any betterer than that! Nom, nom, nom, absolutely perfick, holiday heaven!

    Nomtastic. That ice cream certainly looks delicious, but are we going to get a review, on the Richter scale of noms?

    What brilliant flavours they have in ice-cream these days - but I still usually choose an Oyster if they have one - difficult to get these days. Wonder if you can get Pistachio Oysters? I think I would be well nommmmmming if I got one of those. JantheFan x

Sorry we are going to have to add word verification our comments section as it seems we are again being bombarded with spam!!! So if your comment doesn't come up straight away it means that our lady "that does" is going through them with a fine toothcomb, so that the spammers don't get through .....This is such a robust pain in the bottom and as such we have boycotted all SPAM comestibles in protest ..... sandwiches, fritters, fricasse etc.!!!!!!
