The weather might not be the most clement at this time of the year ……..
…….. but Darrell and Nigel have steadfastly set up camp on “their spot of choice” on the beach, every morning on their little Dawlish Warren sojourn, not wishing to waste any of the pleasures of just being beside the sea.
It has to be said that it’s a far cry from our usual Greek Odysseys, being more used to the luxury of an obligatory, well spaced out sunbed and parasol when arriving at the beach, rather than having to lug their own chairs and other paraphernalia by themselves …….
……. but for them, it just doesn’t get any better than ………
…… feeling of sand between your toes and occassionally in your sandwiches ………
…….. or having a gentle wave lapping over your already frozen feet! It’s got to be one of the most wonderful joys in all the world, ranking alongside, perhaps, Christmas morning! What are they like?
